What it is:
Transfers are pre-printed designs applied to garments using heat and pressure. They can reproduce virtually any artwork, like gradients, photorealistic images, tiny text, full color, without the setup costs of screen printing. The finish is clean, precise, and durable.
Best for:
Small quantity orders (1–11 pieces) where screen printing isn't cost-effective · Complex or photorealistic artwork · Full-color logos with gradients · Polyester, performance fabric, and blends · Adding a logo to items you already own · Mixed orders where each piece has a different design
Types we offer:
DTF (Direct to Film) transfers — the newest and most versatile option. Full color, soft hand feel, works on virtually any fabric including polyester, nylon, and blends that screen printing can't touch.
Sublimation — dye is fused into the fabric itself, making it part of the garment. Vibrant, all-over color. Works on polyester and light-colored garments only. Ask us if this is right for your project.
Artwork specs:
We accept most file types for transfers including high-resolution PNG, PDF, AI, and EPS. For DTF, a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background is ideal. We'll let you know if your file needs any adjustments.
Pricing context:
Transfers are priced by size, not by color count. This makes them especially economical for full-color or detailed artwork. Your quote will include a per-piece decoration cost based on your specific design.
Modern DTF transfers are very durable when washed correctly (inside out, cold water, no high heat drying). They won't last quite as long as embroidery, but for most use cases they're excellent, and for full-color designs, they're hard to beat.
In most cases, yes. Bring it in or ship it to us and we'll take a look. Some materials (like very thick padding or waterproof coatings) can be tricky. We'll tell you upfront.
Quality transfers applied correctly don't crack or peel with normal use.
